"Peggy has great organizational,
communication, and facilitation skills. When you work with her, she
spends time upfront understanding your issues, and then plans a very
tailored, not cookie cutter, response for your organization, whether
it is grant writing, facilitating board/staff strategic planning, staff
workshops, etc. "

FAQ
- Grant Writing
What
kinds of grants have you written?
Peggy has written a wide variety of successful grants from small single-project
applications to local foundations to the work she did as a part of a grant-writing
team on a large multi-year federal grant.
What
is a case statement? A case statement is a document answers all of
the questions most commonly asked by funders in grant applications. The
document serves as a "core" from which you can "cut and
paste" sections for a variety of grant applications. Contracting
with Peggy to create a case statement can be a very cost-effective way
to reduce the time you spend on grant writing - not just for one grant,
but for the many grants you may write over the course of a year.
Will
you help us find potential funding sources? You are probably the best
judge of which funding source is the best match for your organization.
If you are new to grant writing and need a place to start, a great resource
for funding funding sources is the Partnership for Effective Nonprofits
at:

When does it make sense to hire a grant writer instead of doing it
myself? Consider hiring a grant writer if you
have never written a grant before and would like someone to "walk
you through the process."
are applying for a large grant (over $20,000) where the cost of a
grant writer may be well worth the effort.
are applying for the grant as a collaboration and need help pulling
all the pieces together.
